October 1st was a significant day for Elme Metall, marked by the ceremonial opening of their exhibition booth at Alihankinta 2024, the annual International Subcontracting Trade Fair held in Tampere, which brings together leading professionals from the metalworking, mechanical engineering, plastics, and IT industries.
The booth’s ribbon was cut by Erkki Keldo, Estonia’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Industry, who welcomed the efforts of Estonian companies to expand their business networks and establish new partnerships in Finland. Mr Keldo stressed the importance of cooperation and strengthening business ties between Finland and Estonia: “Competitiveness and economic growth are certainly priority topics in our bilateral relations, as our companies and markets are closely interconnected. Our good neighbour, Finland, is undoubtedly also our most important trade partner, and ensuring the economic well-being is a shared challenge for both countries.”
Algerd Andruškevitšus, Member of the Management Board of Elme Metall, emphasised that at Alihankinta 2024 the company is focused on expanding its presence in foreign markets, increasing export opportunities, exploring new business partnerships, boosting the recognition of the company’s services and products, and developing joint projects with Finnish companies.
