Dear Customer,
The Estonian government has declared a State of Emergency in connection with the global novel coronavirus pandemic and the likelihood that the virus may spread locally. The emergency situation is in effect as of 12.03.2020 and through May 1, unless the government should decide otherwise. Changes in effect under the State of Emergency will affect schools, cultural events and travel, and public gatherings.
Official statement from Government Communication Unit is available here
At the moment it is impossible to assess actual effect of the State of Emergency onto our projects, however hereby we notify you that the above may cause interruptions in work including, but not limited to, shortage of personnel, problems with supply of material and/or participation of inspectors/QC/supervisors etc. that are travelling from/to abroad.
We will keep you updated on actual effects of the State of Emergency on our performance.
In addition to the above, should the current situation with coronavirus affect your field representatives (QC, inspector, supervisor, site office rep etc.) travelling plans and/or ability to attend fabrication survey and/or hold/witnessing in Tallinn, we kindly ask you to notify us ASAP and to negotiate an emergency plan and/or to alter project requirements in order to minimize effect of such disruptions on our timely performance.
Kind regards,
ELME Metall
