Within the framework of the project launched in mid-2020, the company’s service centre in Klaipėda produced about 8,400 tons of parts made of shipbuilding steel and marine sections.
From these parts, Western Baltija Shipbuilding, Lithuanian shipyard of BLRT Grupp, will manufacture 23 grand blocks for each vessel.
Two cruise liners will be finally assembled at one of the European shipyards. The vessels will have an ice class and designed for voyages in the waters of the Arctic and Antarctic in both winter and summer seasons, as well as in other areas of the world ocean in spring and fall. Each liner will accommodate up to 200 passengers excluding the crew members.
Commissioning of the first vessel is scheduled for the second half of 2021 and the second will be delivered in 2022.
