Elme Metall signed a supply agreement for fabricated metal products for Rail Baltica project
Under the Rail Baltica project, Elme Metall signed a supply agreement for fabricated metal products for Stage 1 of constructing a Rail Baltica railway station and associated infrastructure at Riga International Airport.
The first 44 reinforcement cages have already been fabricated at the Elme Metall service centre in Vilnius. Each triple-part cage weighs nearly 4 tonnes and requires on-site assembly; its assembled length will be 32 metres.
Stage 1 is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2023. The prime contractor of the construction project is the B.S.L.Infra сonsortium.
