On 10 February 2003, UAB ELME Metall Lithuania was registered in Klaipeda, thus becoming the first non-Estonia-based commercial company of the ELME Metall Group in the Baltic and Scandinavian countries. Twenty years ago today, UAB Elme Metall Lithuania became commercially active on the territory of the Republic of Lithuania.
Having started from Klaipeda, the company currently has offices in all major Lithuanian cities: Vilnius, Kaunas and Šiauliai. It employs 229 people in the group’s structural units, including service centres.
Along the way, we have supplied our customers with tens of thousands of tonnes of rolled metal products and parts for hundreds of projects involving the production of hull sections for cruise ships and the construction of special-purpose vessels, complex steel structures for oil and gas projects, wind power projects, industrial, civil and infrastructure construction and other areas.
